A deep depression that formed over the Bay of Bengal has weakened after crossing into Bangladesh via West Bengal, currently situated over Satkhira. It continues to bring heavy to very heavy rainfall across multiple divisions including Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet. Dhaka remains cloudy with ongoing rain, and further rainfall is expected across Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Dhaka divisions due to active monsoon winds. The highest rainfall was recorded at 168 mm in Noakhali, while Dhaka saw 86 mm. The heavy rains have led to ferry service suspensions and flooding in coastal areas like Bagerhat and Patuakhali.
